How to Disable Automatic Update on Windows 7 ?
One of my friend asked me whether how to turn off the automatic updates on Windows 7 operating system in his laptop.He didn’t like automatic update because it consumed his internet bandwidth and lowers the internet speed when he does some work .So I solved his problem and saw a smile in his face.Let me solve your problem also with simple steps
- Click Start Button and go to Control Panel.
- Make the View By option to Large Icons.
- After that you can see Windows Update which is at the last of the list on the left side.Select it and you will get a pop-up panel.
- Now select the Change Settings on the list at left side.
- Under the Important Updates options select Never Check for Updates and finally click OK button.That’s all you have solved the problem.

Turning off the Windows Update is not recommended since updating the windows laptop or desktop computer may prevent you from virus attacks,malware but makes your computer is up to date as well as performance.Windows updates may be disabled temporarily on unavoidable situation but try to always turn on Windows automatic updates.
